Introduction Blog
Hello, my name is Jasmin Aguinaga aka Jazzy.
I'm currently studying at the University of Central Florida where I hope to get my bachelors degree in Linguistics. At the moment I know three languages, which are, English, Spanish, and Italian. I hope in the near future to pick up another language specifically in Mandarin. Now you may be wondering what in the world am I going to do with all these languages?..... well I'll tell you. My dream goal is to work for the United Nation as an ambassador or work for UNICEF and taking a stand for education for children in need. There are a couple things you need to know about me I rather share it with you through pictures.

This is my tribe.
I absolutely love them and I can't thank God enough for placing them in my life. They have pushed me, believed in me, and celebrated with me. Each one of them is so intricately unique and acquire a set of qualities that astound me everyday. They play a huge role in my life and the thought of life without them is unfathomable.

Let me just say I love traveling....
I have been honored and privileged to have the opportunities to travel internationally these past five years of my life. "I want to travel the world", is what everyone says when they are younger. But how many people actually get to do this? I would watch my four older siblings say the same thing all the time "I can't wait to travel the world".; although traveling can be challenging as you get older due to life in itself which is totally understandable. But in my case I made it an appoint to accomplish traveling as many places as I could go. My parents are originally from Ecuador and although I went here and there growing up I can't say I truly grew an appreciation for my native country. Maybe it is because of how young and naive I was back then. Ecuador it was.... this is the first trip I took on my own. It was amazing to be surrounded by so many natives and to see the history my parents had made there. A year went by and I embarked my first study abroad trip to Italy and Greece in 2014. It was at this very moment where I found my purpose in life. It was February 27, 2014 I was presenting a presentation at the University of Rome in front of my colleagues and Italian students. It was amazing to see the interaction I had with Italian students and how well adapted they were to our culture and the knowledge they had in English. It was at this very moment I knew that learning Italian fluently was going to change my life forever. Needless to say after my first encounter with study abroad I have been to many other foreign countries and gain experience and connection. Let’s just say I have problem....traveling.
Feeding Children Everywhere
I love this company. I am super passionate about giving back and making a difference. FCE is a non-profit organization who preps meals for kids who are in need. The food is not only distributed just to foreign countries but also here in the United States. It is a great experience to be apart of. Anyone can volunteer for a hunger event and trust me it is truly is a great feeling to know that by you putting down some rice in a bag and hearing that bell ring; you and several others have now packed 400,000 meals and are about to change the world.

Graduation...
The emotions are real this semester. Thinking back when I was in high school, I never would have thought, I'd be where I'm standing today. I am the first in my family to graduate and this is a huge deal in the Aguinaga clan. Words cannot describe how I am feeling. I will say that I believe that everyone has a story to be told. Let me rephrase that.... EVERYONE has a story and it is important to tell the story. My story is... I'm just a girl, who grew up in Kissimmee, Florida with four older siblings, and two amazing parents. Traveling, people, and giving back, are some of the few things I am passionate about. I love music, specifically Jazz, and drinking coffee while catching up on some reading.
